"Black & White Print Options"
When ordering, you have the option of choosing between
"Neutral Tone Black and White" or "Warm
Tone Black and White" prints.
The image tone of Neutral Black and White prints is like
that of light selenium toning, producing deep detailed
blacks and rich grays through the middle tones. The overall
appearance to most observers is a print that is Neutral
or slightly Cool to the eye. Some prefer this print treatment
in landscape photographs.
The image tone of Warm Tone Black and White prints is
much like that of classic Platinum printing, producing
deep warm shadows and long scale golden middle tones.
The overall appearance to most observers is one of an
Amber quality to the light, creating an inviting atmosphere.
I find that this print treatment is especially attractive
where the photograph contains images of people.
Below you will find Fine Art Photography examples of
Neutral and Warm tone images. Look at each and when you
are ready to order you will be able to make your choice
under each image in the gallery by clicking on the TONE
button.
Please Note: This site looks best using Internet Explorer
at a resolution of 1024 x 768 or higher. You may experience
slightly different colors and possibly some image sizing

your monitor will also be effected by the quality of your
monitors' color calibration.
